Lesley Stahl, did a recent update on Derek, and he is even more amazing now.
Lesley says at one point that you can't stop listening to him play, it was
about that same time that I told the wife the same thing.

Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes, profiles British musical savant Derek Paravicini, whose computer-like memory for music is matched by his creative abilities to play it in any style. Derek, a musical genius and nephew of Camilla Parker Bowles, plays the piano like you've never heard. Yet, he doesn't know his age, nor does he know how to hold up three fingers! Also, Derek is blind!

That was great. I have nephew who is a prodigy but not blind. He just sat down at a piano one day and started playing it as good as this guy when he was about 6 years old. He has written some of his own symphony's already. This really amazes me how these things happen but this guy is about the best I have ever seen of these people with talent like this. I'm lucky to tie my shoes correctly most of the time.
