I rode through Arches on my way to Washington. I want to go back and spend a few days there. A few hours doesn't give you time to really appreciate the park.

I agree....I was there several years ago and only got to spend an afternoon. Wasn't enough time.

It would be nice to spend some time there in the off-season, when you don't have to dodge tourists trying to maneuver rented motorhomes in those small parking areas.

Early in the morning the tourists are mostly still asleep and it is cooler too. Made for a nice ride through the park. The really great part of the day was the ride with my Father. We see each other fairly often, but I haven't ridden with him in a long time.

Beautiful scenery out there. Wish I could take a ride out there this fall.

Glad you got to do some riding with your father. That must have been great for both of you.

Nothing like spending quality time with a "best friend".

Arches is a very cool place....so very different from where I live. It was awesome to have the chance to visit the place during the SW Rally...but I agree....more time would have been nice! Great pics... :)!!

Ann and I were just through there as well. It was awesome. It is really worth seeing in person. Photos just don't do a place like this justice. You really can't appreciate the scale of these remarkable formations.
