Well that's exactly what a sane somebody would do.

It's my thought that the faster you get you life back to a normal routine the quicker you'll heal. Now my foot is to swollen to get my work boot back on. So today and for the rest of the next few weeks I'll sit or lay with my foot in the walking cast elevated except to visit the bathroom or take a shower. Like the Doctor toll me. :-[

I am glad to hear that everything is ok. I don't mean to be macabre, but when you feel up to it, it would be interesting to hear about how it happened. I have read about people hitting deer with vastly different outcomes, and without rhyme or reason. It's good that you'll be back in no time.
