regional rally

Maybe we should start a poll with a couple of different dates for the rally. See what works for the majority of people.

Jen also brings up a good point also... in that they are in the alley for tornadoes around May. There were ads on TV for companies selling tornado shelters... Geez... Makes you think.

Let me know the dates as soon as possible... so I can attend, if invited.

In May of 2011 a group of us from Iowa were going to go down to AR for memorial weekend and that's about the time the Joplin tornado happened. Following the tornado it continued to rain for a week or so, so we had to cancel the trip. I like the idea of having the rally down there tho!!

Jen glad to see that's all you got out of that deer and that you are ok!

Talking about snow, we did get 10"f snow on one day this year here in Iowa in early May.

Sounds great guys... I know it takes a lot of work and pre-planning for these things. I do not envy you for doing the work... but sure am glad you are!

Love what little of Arkansas I have ridden in. Was hard to find a bad route when I was there...

As much fun as this sounds and i am wanting to hit a rally or two or twelve...I will not be able to attend if it is in June. The M/C that i am a member of is holding its National Rally in the Wisconsin Dells the first week of June. And if i turn in back to back Vacation slips my Lt. would probably laugh lol

If you haven't been to the Dells area, with all due respect, the riding in that area isn't exactly what I would call "destination riding".

The Dells is mostly a major tourist-trap of inflated prices and a circus atmosphere. I don't live too far from there and avoid it whenever I can. Too many vacationers driving vehicles they cannot control; while dragging along a boat-load of kiddies to the water-parks. I would tell you what I really think of the area, but you might think I was offensive.

Hopefully you have friends going to that rally to make it worth while for you; otherwise the better riding will be in Arkansas.

Again, no offense intended. I was merely wanting to make sure you knew the area if you have not been there. Ride safe and pay attention while you are there. It is a dangerous area of idiots in cages.
