Just bought a 08 nomad. It's my first bike in 40 yrs. almost traded for a Harley this weekend. But l just love this bike way to much. I am adding a luggage box with a wrap around back rest, and a Memphis shades fairing this weekend. It seems like I get way too much wind with just the standard windshield.

Wow that made ALL difference! It stopped head buffeting, reduced wind noise and got all the air pressure off my shins. There are many commercial models readily available including some by our own member Bamabrat. I made these (below) as an experiment and they worked so well I haven't upgraded them to commercial units yet, and may never. They WORK! Now that I've tried chaps I'll always have them. Good luck with your wind solution.
