Stebel Horn

Do any parts store sell the Stebel Horn? If so how much is the usual price? I was looking on eBay Motors and there are some listed the black one goes for $37 and change and the chrome goes for $43 and change. The kicker is that shipping is $9.99. This one seller also includes a special bolt designed for anti-vibration and is a $6.00 value included free. Would I be better off to buy at a parts store if they have them or to buy on eBay? Any thoughts will be appreciated.

I've seen knock-offs at auto parts stores, but never a genuine Stebel horn.

I found one at my local Honda dealer. I think I paid about $47 for the chrome one.

I got mine from BikerHighway. They show on sale for $42 in chrome and the site gives options for harness, etc.. I think I have a Word file with complete instructions and pics as well as a template for mounting it. Let me know if you are interested in that too.

I bought a Stebel at Advanced Auto Parts. It was not the chrome model, just the zinc finish. I didn't care about the finish because it is well hidden. It was about $50, if I remember correctly.

This is where I bought both of mine. Best price I could find anywhere.

Why stebel, is there some thing special about that brand? My stock horns won't even get the bulldog to raise her head.
Thanks for your time.

Stebel is very loud and a great improvement over stock, worth the money. The prices above seem to be about what they cost. I got my chrome for 40ish.

As always guys I do thank you for your input. I have saved all the links and will check them out. I will check them out this weekend which started yesterday and the day before and the day before.

As for the stock horn, it is louder than any horn on the Honda's I have owned but the Stebel is much louder. It is definitely a great safety feature.

Once again, thanks guys.

Stebel is 139db over the stock horn's 90 db (I think). it WILL get another motorist's attention. It will also mount in the stock horn's location. I don't have any pics but I know someone around here does.

Utah, I used the stock location to mount a WOLO, which looks to me to be the same unit as Strebel.
At the time I purchased it was 33.00, prepaid from Amazon.
Would like to remount in another location, because IMO all these type of horns are butt ugly to look at......but they sure do work!

Gene: My Stebel was about $42 something plus I got the wiring harness kit free when I ordered it a long time back. Its the chrome one. the chromed plastic is sorta fading out somewhat in this hot sun. But love the sound of the Stebel.!!!!!
