Stebel Horn Again

Just completed the first of my slow riding season changes. After all the good feedback on this site I added a Stebel airhorn, what an improvement!! I should have done it when I got my bike. For those thinking about adding a better horn do it now, there are several other Stebel type horns made, and I assume they are very loud as well. It is well worth the money. Thanks for the info guys.

+1 on the Stebel, but don't rely on it. Not all drivers pay attention to it. If you want to get a message to a cager, text em'.

Brian put ours on a month ago and they are nice and loud: the only problem I can see is scaring the hell out of some little old lady or little old man and they swerve and hit me.

Mine is mounted on a bracket on the right front upper crash bar bolt. I left the original horn functional.

My original horn was by far the worst I have ever had on a bike. Maybe it has a dead mouse in it. Putting the Stebel on made a huge difference. The stock pipes are quiet, but loud horns save lives.

Here's a picture of mine. I have only had it on about 4 months and it's already saved my butt once.

I love mine... but I swear that I need to add a second one. There are times that cages just don't seem to care where they drive!

I told my wife, I may not be able to keep them out of my lane... but at least I can make them wet their pants when they do!!
