Tim, I have a portable CB mounted on my handlbars next to my GPS. It's hard wired to my helmet with 2 large speakers and a boom mike.

The push to talk is a button mounted on my grip that connects to the CB. It works fine for my use.

I had to get this as Dave is a chatter hound like a girl and wants to talk about his periods, hair removal cream, room fresheners, who's cheating on who,,, etc..... you get the picture?!!

Yeah Brad, that is the setup I would use if any of my riding buddys had CB.
Right now I have Q2's to talk with Cindy on her bike.
If I were to install a CB I would need a speaker and boom mic on one side of my helmet for the CB and a speaker and another mic on the other side of my helmet for the Q2's ::)
Wouldn't that look <s>cute</s> ridiculous.
I forgot, real men don't say cute.
