If it is that new I would be taking it back to the dealer for them to look at, you may want to try adding some sea foam to the gas to see if that helps.

Got some gas last week that the bike didn't like at all. Same place I've always gotten it from for the cars and other bike. Mileage started to drop about 5 minutes after filling up. Sputtered a bit on the low end.

Put some seafoam in it, and it was at 1/2 tank this morning and filled it up, not at the same station. Already saw the mileage starting to creep back up. Still had a stumble now and then. I'll add some more treatment tonight when I get home.

Going to try to get it to a dynotune place sometime in the next two weeks. Can't wait to see what they can do with the bike.

Thanks. I'll try some additive. It seems to be the worst when I'm easy on the throttle. May need to drive it like I stole it.

I disconnected the ground from my battery, turned key to start, reconnected battery cable.
Runs great. No more sputtering.

My California Vaquero is in the shop as we speak, same issues. They so far have told me that it is normal. Second opinion tomorrow, blah, blah, blah. Which is why I am buying a Honda F6B this weekend and will be selling the Vaquero as soon as I get it back. I have tried EVERYTHING!!! Cobra Tri-Ovals, PCV, plug air valve, Thunder Gasket, K&N air cleaner. Removed it all and it still runs for crap. I am DONE!! Never had any issues like this with Hondas, or Suzukis in the past. Kawasaki needs to get their stuff together.

Mine runs like a dream. Not sure what your issue is. Maybe the Map you have on the PCV is the culprit.. also if it is a California Communist version, there may be some Cali emissions crap programmed into tye ECU that causes the bike to run like a terd.

So far that seems to be the consensus. The O2 sensor is likely the issue, which as you know prior years did not have. My 2011 Vaquero, stock, or with the Cobras, etc., did not have this issue. Thanks California!!

I am thinking you need a Power Commander 5 with ignition, the non Cali modle 17-033 and a O2 sensor eliminator / canceler to get that bike right. I think they are still working on an O2 sensor eliminator for the 2015s.

I had those on it, including the Air valve was REMOVED with an eliminator on it. Decel popping was annoyingly bad and as soon as it got to the 3rd mark hot started running like crap. Put it back to stock, let Kawa fix it? I will try the battery disconnect, but don't have much faith in that either. This bike was my love, Gorgeous Green, great bike, fit like a Glove! Damned California legislators and their constant meddling in everything! Let's Lock up Spray paint! Oh yeah that stops Graffiti.. Let's put Bumpy thingies in front of Store entries so blind people will be aware they are stepping in or our of a parking lot. How did they get there in the first place??? Let's make dirt bikes 4 strokes for noise and air pollution, Really? Let's give bicyclists 3 feet of clearance between cars.(ride where it is safe people!). Car pool lanes that no one drives in! And Don't get me started on the Asinine Gun control laws(that are unconstitutional) Arrgh! Etc., Sorry I almost couldn't stop..
