Rayski in town

There was a train derailment about 100 miles south of us in Alma, WI a few days ago. My girl and I were talking and wondering if that would some how bring Ray to town. Well, yesterday morning I got a text from Ray saying "Heading your way" and "want to do dinner" ? He was sent here by the RR to turn an Amtrak train that would have been on the same tracks as the derailment. Our good fortune. We picked Ray up in downtown St. Paul at his hotel and we had a great dinner and a few beers. Only spent about 1.5 hours with him but it sure was good seeing my friend unexpectedly. Safe travels back to Chicago today my friend and hope to see you soon.
