What is the total to buy the add-ons?
Was just wondering...
Through the last couple years of being on this site... I have seen a lot members buy various add-ons for their Nomads such as: fender chrome, pipes, TFI's, air-breathers, bag-rails, lowers, Wompus trunk-rack, a trunk, cruise-control, spot-lights, bullet-lights, and sound-systems (just to mention a few of the dozens of add-ons). What are these add-ons costing to buy and ultimately put-on the Nomad? Seems to me, add-ons can add-up rather quickly if someone puts all of the above on the bike. As I said... just wondering to get an idea. Thanks. ;)

What is the total to buy the add-ons?
Simply put it is a multiple of 1 thousand that depends on the owner of the bike, if they have not yet hit the $1000 mark they have plans to... (like me)

What is the total to buy the add-ons?
Oh gosh...I have purposely never added it up, but I'd guess close to 3 large on mine.

What is the total to buy the add-ons?
I added bag rails and sissy bar/luggage rack and a pad when I bought mine. They gave $500.00 off on a Kawasaki deal. So to purchase the bike and the extras plus tax and licensing I paid $14,420.00. I'm not big into extras I 'm into maintainence.

What is the total to buy the add-ons?
Nice spreadsheet!! Good idea to do that to keep track... but then again... I am a "number-nut"
From Cajun and CJ's answers (since I believe they both have added a majority or all of the add-on's listed, besides maybe a different seat), I would then venture a guess these add-on's would be any where from $2,500 to $3,500 total (depending of course on the quality of the add-on and whether one had them installed for them). I looked up the list-price of a 2010 Nomad and it was $15,199 MSRP (I suppose that was the rock-bottom version). $15,199 plus the add-on's (if you could get them for the 2010's yet) would put the total price (without tax, title, and license) from $17,699 to $18, 699. It is too bad that more don't like the Voyager, since it lists for nearly that price, and one could likely get it for less. With my next statement... I am not meaning to offend anyone that owns a new Voyager... However, it is too bad Kawasaki didn't make the Voyager in a style and manner that appealed more to the loyal Nomad crowd. I know I would likely be riding one if it would have been designed different. Just wondering... and sayin'... that's all. ;) Thanks guys. :)

What is the total to buy the add-ons?
I didn't buy many of the extras on my bike as it came almost the way you see it, but I figure the original owner spent about $5000,00 or more on that bike. When I was shopping for a bike I was ready to get a new one until that bike appeared one day. It was just the way I would have built it, so I bought it already done, and other than the whitewalls and a couple other minor things Ive been able to enjoy it from day one.
Had I bought a new bike it would have taken me a few years of adding accessories a little at a time, and even then I doubt I would have all the stuff that I have on this bike.

What is the total to buy the add-ons?
So far well over $1,800..and that's from someone who said he would never add anything to his new Nomad 1 1/2 years ago...haha...But I do like the Voyager and will probably be my next bike in 3 to 4 years...By then maybe they'll have a couple more color schemes, work out some bugs and who know's? Might be called an 1800 by then.

What is the total to buy the add-ons?
In retrospect, my $3000 estimate is probably a bit on the low side. My tourpak, fairing, pipes and seat alone exceed that figure. Like I said, I never added it all up - but after giving it more thought, I wouldn't be surprised if it was above the $5,000 mark.
