Nomad newbie from North Dakota

Greetings from the peaceful prairie of North Dakota!

As of last Thursday, I am the proud new owner of a red & black 2008 Nomad. I previously owned a Honda VTX 1300c, and I have to say that the Nomad is quickly making me forget it!
I've been reading this forum since last fall, and I learned a lot before deciding on a Nomad. I owned Kawasaki KE 100s and KE 175s when I was a kid, and in high school I had a Ninja 500. It's great to be back with Kawasaki.
After deciding on the Nomad, I had to wait three agonizing weeks for my dealer to receive my Nomad, as he had to order a red/black one directly from Kawasaki. I'd say that it was definitely worth the wait. My Nomad is stock except for V & H baggers and chrome bag top rails.
I'm sure I'll be asking plenty of questions, so thanks in advance for the help.
I'll get some pictures and some other personalization stuff done in the coming days.
