Memphis Shades Fairing For Nomad?

I came across this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Batwi...Q5fAccessories

After some investigation I saw this:

https://www.phatperformanceparts.com...Code=2330-0017

I was curious if anyone had this fairing and how they made it work. The fairing is what I am looking for as I don't care about gauges, radio, speakers, etc. If I bought an HD inner and outer fairing, I'd end up around the same $190 or probably more and still have to deal with the holes in the inner fairing. I think I can make my own brackets but if the MS brackets can be adapted, I'd get those. Overall, it seems a relatively cost effective way to get a decent fairing.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks,

Pete

This is really just a big windshield shaped like a fairing, but I'm sure you figured that out already. I've never seen one, nor have I heard of anyone using one, so I can't help you with a recommendation.

I wouldn't consider one because if I have a fairing it's going to have a stereo and gauges in it - and preferably attached to a 1700 Voyager ::) But you said that's not what you're looking for, so this may do the job for you.

Thanks, Cactus. After you said that, I studied the pictures in more detail and you're right, it's a windshield. I hadn't studied it that close earlier. I guess the price clouded my judgement....LOL. Not sure I really want that, after all. I'll keep looking. If I could get the Voyager (slim chance at the moment) I'm sure I could put up with the gadgets.....
