Saddlebag top rails

If anyone is looking for top rails, there have been several for sale on Ebay. They are going for around $130.00 plus $20.00 shipping. That is about 1/2 price. Just lettin ya know

I don't think the ones from whitney are the four bars. I think they are the one bar down the middle or the no bar down the middle.
Not that it mattrers I just bought a set on ebay of the four bar for 160 + 20 shipping.
I watched 3 auctions and the other two went for 180+20 and 182+20.

I don't know, I'm so undecided, 3 or 4 or maybe even 5 or 6 rails. Will someone buy all the different ones and get back to me before I spend the money :-/

I snowblow, shovel and plow in the winter.
Oh yeah, I take the money I save in the winter , by not riding , and taking trips on the nomad and buy accesories

I guess I got lucky I kept making min. bids on sets and ended up with a pair for 40 plus 25 shipping for 65 I thought they might be the cheap thin ones but when they came they are great heavy and good chrome just waiting on a trailer hitch I bought to put them on so I only have to take the bags off once

I've got a set of the JC Whitney rails. I plan to remove them and have the holes repaired and tops of bags repainted too. When I do, I am gonna go with chaps. I put them on to keep my wife from scratchin the bags with her feet. It didn't work. When I remove these I plan to sell these for about 1/2 the cost I paid of $107.00. Thats a spring project for me.

I brought mine off of ebay. 4 bars and really nice chrome. One problem for me was they sent 2 sets! I got them for 35 with the shipping. I couldn't understand that I saw the same thing on there over and over again for all kinds of different prices. So since my son and I both ride a Nad we both have them. They look great and I got mine for the same reason. My GF didn't seem to understand that the top of the bag wasn't for her to step on. Go figure..Here is a link to one of the ebay auctions.

unless I really jack up the top of my bags I just can't see drilling through them!? Damaging the tops to prevent scratching just doesn't ring my logic bell?!
