Trip,.... what does it take as far as money, to run a web site like yours/ours ???
Besides lots.
And if I can be so bold to ask,.....how has the response been towards contributions?
I mean you don't have to tell us how much cash is donated exactly, just how are you doing with it? I see the post is still being promoted and will be for the month of course.

Running the VBA is not all that expensive, but it can get that way at times. Personally, I have paid for the expenses since its inception. It's not something that will break me, but I do have considerable time and expense invested. That's why, a couple of years ago, I decided to allow members donate, if they want to. Some had asked, so I thought it was a good idea.

Expenses involved are website and website coding expenses, banner and promotional material expenses and misc expenses, such as securing the hotel for the 2013 National in Estes Park. There are other expenses, but these are the main ones.

As far as response for September... it's been very good, as compared to earlier this year and last year. You guys have done a very good job in helping with the expenses.

That's good to know that people/members are donating to the point where it's making a difference. Not enough to get you a new Kawasaki Nomad/Voyager/Vaquero though,.....Eh
