The screw arrived yesterday. I'll ship it over in a day or so.

Did you hear Harley's going broke?
Damn shame. Just a tragic damn shame.

Not surprised at all really, speaking for English buyer's,there are only so many wanker's out there ready to spend silly money on an inferior bike, just to try and look like a "real biker" and belong to an elite club. They have reached saturation point over here, nobody take's any notice of them anymore and they hate that ! Whenever i see a group of Harley's parked up i go and park right in amonst them just to piss them off. Sad bunch of bastard's most of them.

I recently bought a Vaquero and the biggest reason was that once purchased and with all the extras that I wanted, it was going to be cheaper by thousands than the Ultra I was looking at. The dealer wanted to get the bike off his floor since it was a 2013 and hadn't peaked much interest until I came along so the sale price was $12,600, $10,200 after trade. I added American Performance pipes, Mustang 1-up seat with back rests, fog lights, charging ports, Windvest windshield, passenger running boards, saddle bag top trim and luggage rack. All the extras ran a little over $2800. The Ultra I was looking at had about 10k miles on it and they were asking 19K. It was a no-brainer. No regrets. Love my Vaq.

H-D's customer base is getting older and dying off. Millennials are more interested in scooters and Priuses than a big ol' cruiser. H-D is gonna have to adapt to attract younger customers with lighter bikes, higher technology and cell phone apps.

Don't know about the rest of Canada but what I pay to an insurance company for fire, theft, collision public liability, roadside assist etc is not so bad less than $400 tax in. It is the medical part that the Quebec government controls that is pricey, 0ver $500 for a cruiser and around $ 1100 for a sports bike. Seems we are a greater risk and therefore a greater drain on the system than cagers. Who knew?

The System.

There lies the problem.

Must be a VAT/import convenience fee tacked on. The APR is nuts too.
