KNOW Session NOV 6 (Sat) 20 miles S. of Ft Worth

All Kawanow folks and their friends are invited to a "KNOW" session in Billmac's shop on Nov 6th at 11am. We will be installing a Chuckster's intake mod on Billmac's black 2006 Nomad. It is the dual plate mod that removes the solenoids but allows better right side air intake. The mod also allows the Nomad to keep the stock dog bowls. The mod also allows the quick return to stock should the desire arise.

Billmac's shop is 3000 sq ft of junk with two open bays to park our bikes inside. The shop also includes an a/c & heated 600 sq ft "man cave" with usual compliments of big screen w/Directv, Refrig, microwave, bathroom, shower, etc, etc. Women are allowed and appreciated. :) The shop has jacks, with a Nomad Adapter, and normal assorted hand tools if you desire to work on your bike.

We will provide some brisket, hamburgers and all the trimmings. There will be plenty of stuff to drink. Come early and stay late. You don't need to bring anything, except your sleeping bag if you want to get an early start back home Sunday. The man cave likes guests but there is just one couch.

Look forward to seeing everyone regardless of the weather. If it is nice weather, we may even take a short ride in the area.

Our Goal is to tinker with the Nomads and have good time together with friends.

Bill, Darlene and I will make it. That is my only free weekend in November with days off before and after the weekend. Worked out great. I'll watch the weather and decide just before the weekend if we will ride up or cage up.

Remember Nov 7 is a Daylight Savings time change. So an "early start" home can get you an hour more sleep!!!!

Billmac, I do plan on being there as well. My son may join us on his Volusia. I am bringing my Chuckster cam extenders just in case. I am afraid to dig into it by myself, maybe someone else is having the same self doubts and we can do it together. I am looking forward to meeting the people I have been reading their post and putting faces and voices to them.

If I can help by bring anything please just let me know.

Great SteveO, I hoped to meet you at Nightmare's Talimena Ride. We had a great time. What a fun group of people. I know sometimes it is just hard to get away. My son planned to ride Talimena with us but a funeral changed his plans. Now he hopes to make the KNOW Session at my place.

I look forward to finally meeting you and your son. Bring your can chain extenders and we will see what happens.

I will post my address and directions soon.

Steve, Order two of the paper gaskets and o-rings for the tensioner assemblies at Cheap Cycle Parts or Bike Bandit. They are cheap and it's better to have em and not need em than need em and not have em. I feel pretty sure we'll have plenty of time to get your extenders installed. I'll have red lock tite and the ball allen wrenches needed for the job. How much mileage on your Nomad?

I'm going to try to attend, but my schedule isn't set right now.

I also have the Chuckster intake kit. Probably no way that I'll be able to wait until then to install it though.
