Pardon? I'm trying to get the bike back to mostly original. Others have made brackets to mount a stereo remote for their handlebars. Since I'm not a machinist, I figured I'd try something creative. It just didn't work. For all that, I'll buy them from Bikebandit.
As a matter of fact, it sort of sounded like you suggested I could sell it better without the fairing.

I doubt selling it with the fairing would get you the money back that you spent on it. Selling it with the windshield will probably get you almost the same amount and you could sell the fairing separately.
