Worst thing about winter riding

Trying to keep my face shield on my full face helmet from fogging over. Can crack it open but when it is very cold outside my face hurts.

Yeah, face shield fogs up, layers of clothes restrict movement, feet get cold, have to watch for ice, but...........I figure any time I can ride during winter I figure it's all good.

Snow/ice. Last winter I rode to work up until the third week of Jan. Some days when leaving the house it was between 25-28 degrees. But I know later in the day it was gonna hit 40's.

Worst thing for me is not the cold or extra clothing needed. It having to continually having to answer the question from non motorcycles, and some who choose not to ride in cold weather.

It is awful cold out there isn't it?

I ride all year. Coldest I've rode to work in the last few years was 6 degrees. Cold don't stop me. What will stop me is snow, ice or the chance of black ice. Black ice scares me. As long as it's dry, I ride regardless of the cold.
