easier way to remove gas tank

Just wondering if there is an easier way to remove the gas tank to gain access to the coolant filler neck. I'm getting ready to change my coolant, but am just wondering if I have to take the tank all the way off or can I just remove the rear tank bolt and front tank bolts and remove a fuel line in the rear and just move the tank back towards the seat a little, enough to gain access to the coolant neck? Help.
Also what kind of coolant are you all running. I've been running the LP3 stuff (orange) in my other bikes and have had no problems. Any feedback on this? Thanks in advance guys.

When I flushed my radiator last fall that's what I did. just unbolted and slid back enough to get to neck. I used Honda Pro Coolant . I went by what Gadget said was easy... check out this link:

I just removed my tank to pull all of the reed valve hoses etc and put coasters on. Pulling the tank is a pain in the neck.
