A second Vaquero in my future?
NEW FLASH!
I AM NOT DEAD! So life has been kicking the crap out of me for awhile, but I don't have enough sense to surrender. NEVER! And my latest kicking involved my beloved Black Magic doing a flip off of a trailer (not moving) and landing upside down. Apparently, it wasn't designed for that. Huh, go figure. Now I am waiting for Flo to decide to repair or not repair. That means declare it totaled, for those not into Shakespeare. If totaled, I will be picking up a 2017 Vaquero ASAP, as I have multiple rides I have to attend. I know that a lot of the suggested "improvements" since 2011 have matured or have been replaced. Here is your opportunity to brag about how you have the sweetest Vaquero around, and how you got there! (yes, I know how to read through the posts, and how to use Search - but if I can egg on a bragging war which just happens to save me the trouble, it's a WIN-WIN in my book!)

No bragging here.. Just taking a moment to say THAT SUCKS! I would hate to have to start over with a different scoot and have to make it your own all over. Especially after you get it just the way you want it.. Sorry to hear about your beloved Black Magic. I hope the "process " is resolved quickly.
Good luck.. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Why couldn't he just take the stuff of the one that feel off the trailer and put it on his new one? Well, the stuff that survived the fall of course

Oh, you very likely could.. EXCEPT, if it were me, I tend to hold onto a scooter for a long time and the model years would be SOOOO fare apart switching goodies from the old to the new tends to be problematic.

I wondered what happened to you Jerry.
Hope Flo decides soon and you're back on two wheels shortly.

Do we still need to wrap the pipes? That wasn't much fun either, come to think of it. They damn well ain't getting my seat! Done found an eBay special to swap out if it comes to that. I have made peace with whatever Flo decides. All of you long-timers will understand that, while it is big hardware, we do get attached to them as we tweak them out. But zen and all of that, all things come to an end, and this may be one of them. I will deal with the hand dealt. Thanks BudMan! Staying employed became an interesting adventure, but things have settled now. The sucky thing though is that I live in an RV near work at Fort Knox now, go home usually one weekend a month to Clarksville. A two and a half hour ride for one-way commute is just a tad too far! But hey, it's paying the bills!

I almost replaced my Voyager with another. Kept waiting for Kawasaki to come out wIth a color other than black.
Hope the new bike lives up to the one you lost.

Old Bear... "They damn well ain't getting my seat! Done found an eBay special to swap out if it comes to that."
If you have a line on a stock seat to replace a custom one, I'd jump on that... A comfortable saddle are hard to find. Hang on to that! Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

Sorry to hear about "Black Magic". Hopefully Flo goes your way... (Whichever way that is... :) )
So, the 2015 with ABS is sssaaaweet! Loving the ABS, not that it's been used. The IVAN'izing ECU saves a lot of time and trouble in that department. I'd tell you to pull the part and sell the commander, but probably not worth the effort. Keep the SEAT! Someone said that the after market trinkets we put on our scoots are only worth about 2% of what we paid for them at trade-in or 'total out' time. So, if there are expensive pieces of bling you were particularly fond of, I'd swap them out for the originals too. The newer Vaq's have ABS and O2 (which is unplugged if IVAN'ized). Not sure what else may have changed, other than a reduction in color choices... Guess that is what painters are for... Good luck, best wishes, keep us posted! Ride safe, Smokier

That looks like a pretty small trailer for that Indian to be on or off as the case may be
