Welcome from Boaz, Alabama, me and my 2008 Black Nomad. If yours is a 2007 and is a 1500 and mine is a 1600 and now the 2009 is 1700, that means for three years running they have bumped up the cc's by 100 each year. Someone with knowledge of this, let us know if that is correct. Also meant to say I spent some time at Sierra Vista back in '89. Wish I had been there on a bike instead of my '88 Cutlass.

The 1600 started in 2005. 2005-2008 where all 1600 fi.
1998-2003 was the 1500 carb, 2004 had 1500 fi, I believe.
The 2009 and up 1700 fi

No way, another Gilbert boy? Hey, we're almost a pack! You'll be readily accepted just cause of your bike color (they're a little clicky) lol Welcome, good board, good people, & a ton of knowledge!
