Blue ridge parkway
Yesterday morning a couple buddy's & I went ridding on the blueridge parkway. We put in eight hours & 279.37 miles. Two & a half hours taking in the sights grabbing a couple meals. We found some roads so tight trucks are not allowed on. A little chilly well worth the ride. Can't wait fore the fall colors. This was in the NC VA area. Bought a map from Americaridesmaps.com. Heavy duty waterproof. Map is of the blue ridge parkway. The best part is it shows all of the great rides all around and intersecting with the parkway. Great map worth having saves so much time getting to the good stuff. Not try to pump the map. Just wanted share how much fun it gives me.

Sounds like a great day. I have trucked near that area and it is very scenic.

From 1989 to 1999 I rode the BRP and Skyland Drive at least once per yr. I always did a mid-Sept weekday ride as there is little traffic. Best ride in the world.

I lived 30 miles from the BRP for years, very nice I just wish the speed limit was higher.
