I know, I was just giving our northern neigbours a bad time. 299 KMH sounds more impressive than 185 MPH.

That should be the provincial or state speed limit.

Either one will make the same impression on the rear of a car if it changes lanes on him.
Aren't you the politically correct one Scott. Taking the time to spell neighbor the Canadian way while giving us a Jab.

This guy is a moron. I just hope he was wearing full leathers so if he ever crashes there may be enough left of him to bury.

Theres a time and place for everything. This was not it!! What does your nomad top out at??? I bet you've tryed it?..I have ...170kms. Fast but not that fast.
Back in 1995 on the very same highway at 5am with no traffic, did the same thing on my modified 1992 kawasaki zx11. Top speed on the speedo..310 km. per hr.. So what was the real speed due to speedo error..who cares..it was really fast. I did this run for about 2 miles to make sure I squeezed every little bit out of it and then when slowing down to about 100 miles per hr., it felt like I could get off and run faster..cool ride..crazy for sure, even stupid but like I said..what does your nomad top out at?..Bdog

My Nomad showed 117mph once on the speedo, I think I had the wind helping me. 105 to 110 most other times.
I'd love to try 300 km on a bike oneday.

This guy is an idiot.

Like BDog said....time and place for everything. I topped out my Nomad once (110 on speedo) but it was on a vacant highway in Montana and I could see for miles ahead of me. Absolutely no traffic on either side of the highway.

My buddy on his ST1300 passed me doing about 135+. He told me he was doing 150 but he changed his mind later.

Big difference in 110 vs 185 and some traffic to none.

A few years ago, some dough head in a Lamborghini videoed himself trying to break 200 MPH on one of the freeways here and posted it on Youtube. You can clearly see his speedo hitting 180, 190 MPH and more. It was at night, and the dash illumination was very clear, including the odometer. Well, there aren't that many Lambos in the Phoenix area that DPS couldn't figure out who it belonged to. Turns out it was some dentist.
