Saturday trip to Sandy Valley

It was already 57 by 10AM and decided to fit a ride in before the rain came. We took a quick ride to Sandy Valley, NV yesterday. Left at 10:30 and back before 1.

Been there before but it was awhile ago. It's two lane blacktop all the way with one mountain pass, a relaxing ride. We rode past Sandy Valley into California a few miles until the blacktop turned to gravel. Turned around and came back. A little over 90 miles.

You are warned many times about littering in Sandy Valley

Some just don't listen.

Looking back from California across Sandy Valley and up the road to the mountain pass.

Going through the pass. Much cooler than the Valley.

Dreary, rainy cool day today. Guess it's the gun show.

Planning Death Valley trip in the next few weeks when the flowers bloom. It's being said that because of all the rain in January and February it will be an epic bloom in Death Valley and judging by the cacti around the house (Full of large buds) it looks like it may well be true.

Looks like a fun ride, glad the temps were to your liking. When I saw the really big golf ball, I thought you were in Texas.
