Damn, I hate these things - the stories are disturbing, but the response on the second story is infriating.

Damn :'(

Just Damn...

It happens here too. Whenever there's a story of a motorcycle wreck in the newspaper, 90% of the reader comments are anti-motorcycle, anti-biker, and anti-humanity. It's sickening.

Don't know what to say. I had the pleasure of talking with Chuck at the Eastern Rally. It was a great time of discussing mods and riding. Such a true gentleman and so sincere and sweet. My deepest, heartfelt, sympathy go out to his family and to all those that got the privilege to ride with Chuck. Some day we will meet again and ride like we talked about Chuck. Rest in peace.

I only got to meet Chuck twice, but those memories will stick with me. Chuck was a great man, a great friend and a great rider. He seemed to live to ride, even setting up his EMT communications on his bike. I will not forget his smile, that black cowboy hat and the way he rode with such confidence. He was a man who did not ride just because it was cheaper on gas or because everyone else did it, he was a man who rode for the true love of riding.

Somewhere in Heaven, Chuck is enjoying a great ride! The prayers of my family go out to his family and to all of you.

I met Chuck a few years ago at a lunch ride with the TexasVroc group and have ridden with him on several occasions. He was just one of those people that you consider family just after meeting him. The world will be a darker place with out the light of this kind and gentle man.

Rest in Peace my friend :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
