Very nice pics of Chuck everyone!

I was looking at them last night and came up with the idea that I would create a tribute video of Chuck for KawaNOW.

I'll be attending Chucks funeral on Monday, in fact, I've been asked to say a few words about Chuck on behalf of KawaNOW, so wish me luck (I'm not a very good public speaker).

Next week, things should settle down enough for me to start work on a tribute video. If anyone else has any pics of Chuck, post them here like others have done and I'll use them.

It is amazing how we came together via KawaNow, then met at a rally and shook hands as if we had been friends for many years. Chuck naturally carried himself as the true Nomad enthusiasts mentor. He loved his motorcycle and went the extra mile to explain ways to improve what we had in common. He will be remembered and missed by all.

It's been a few days now since Chuck passed and I still tear up reading all the thoughts others have posted about him...it's like one of my family members is no longer with us today...Trip, you knew him and rode with him...it must be harder on you and those who DID know him personally...Please everyone ride extra careful....we saw some one on a bike last night and Nico and I both noticed how he was riding like a jerk...swerving around cars during rush hour...there is no where that important to get to that you need to throw caution to the wind and take chances like that!

Trip..you'll do a fine job...though it will be a sad time I'm sure.

Stay Strong Trip. You have my all my confidence in speaking on behalf of yourself and for the KawaNow members. I wish I could be there to ride with you. Stand sure knowing I will be there in SPIRIT riding along with you.

You will do fine Trip. As hard as it may be, all who knew Chuck will need to focus on the good times and do their best to remember him that way. I find that works well for me when thinking of those I have lost that were close to me. It's tough because the void is there and will never be filled. Just remember where he's at now. A much better place where all are smiling like Chuck does.

I do a lot of presenting and public speaking in my job. What you are about to do is not public speaking or presenting. You have been given the gift of being able to share your memories about someone close to you. Use this gift to let others know about Chuck in a way they may not have seen.

You're not "speaking to them" You're sharing with them. Do it straight from the heart and it will be perfect. You've got us with you

I think that all of us wish we could be there to give Chuck a farewell, however, time and distance prevent that. Trip, just say what your heart tells you and I know you will speak for us all. God bless you.
