Chuck's Funeral Arrangements.............

Here is Chuck's funeral arrangements in case anyone wants to attend:

Monday, 28 July 2008

Pre Ceremony:
There are two options for participation in the pre–ceremony activities. Participation in the motorcade from the Funeral home or participation in a Flag line at the Church. We would like as many riders as possible to participate in the procession, and as many folks as possible to stand the flag line to receive the procession. Either way you are honoring Chuck and giving him a proper farewell.

Option 1:
Motorcade from Beck Funeral Home
Location: Beck Funeral Home

15709 Ranch Road 620

Austin, TX 78717

http://www.beckchapels.com/map.ivnu

Time: Congregate at 8:30 am at the Funeral home.

Kickstand Up: Motorcade procession will leave the funeral home around 9:00AM

Travel time to First United Methodist is +/- 15 minutes

We anticipate 50+ motorcyclists in attendance and many motor vehicles

Non-motorcyclist attendees may consider option 2 (below) to participate as a flag bearer.

For the motorcycle riders: This is a joint MSET (Motorcycle Special Events Team) and PGR (Patriot Guard Riders) mission.

MSET is organizing the procession from the funeral home to the church, and PGR is organizing the flag line at the church.

Ride Captain: Barry Jucha, MSET, 512-699-8611, pio@mset-tx.org

Option 2:
Flag bearer at the First United Methodist Church
Location: First United Methodist Church

1004 N. Mays Street

Round Rock, TX 78680

http://www.fumc-rr.org/aboutUs/directions/

Time: Congregate at 8:20AM at the Church

Flag line in place: 9:00 am

The Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) will hand out flags and instruct participants where to stand.

The idea is to line the entrance to the church with 50 or more US flags to honor Chuck and make a path for the Hurst and motorcade.

This is a great opportunity for non-motorcyclists, friends and attendees to participate in the ceremony.

Ride Captain: Mark Wells, 512-470-0380, mwells2@austin.rr.com

Ceremony
Location: First United Methodist Church

1004 N. Mays Street

Round Rock, TX 78680

http://www.fumc-rr.org/aboutUs/directions/

Time: 10:00AM

The ceremony will begin at 10:00AM
The ceremony should last 30 minutes to an hour.

Post Ceremony
Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to the adjacent hall to mingle and share stories.
Attendees are asked to bring a potluck FINGER FOOD item to share.
Examples include pre-made sandwiches, relish trays, vegetable trays, chips, cookies, etc.
