Chuck's last posted words in his blog and in our Events/Trip Reports section:

This post was at the beginning of the trip Txcwdancer wrote...before he left on the trip...I really wish he hadn't been going for this "Award"...maybe he would still be with us...it's a very sad day today.

I just read the whole blog. He was enjoying life and went out happy.

He completed his IRB goal on the way from Texas to Idaho and got it. The rest of the trip was just a ride. He did say that he was planning on going the whole 1400 miles on to home, but that must have been just to get there, his IRB was already done.

Not many people get to blog their last week on earth in detail. It was interesting to read knowing it was his last days.

Perhaps in a week or so a discussion as to the pros and cons of an IB would be a good discussion. This week, just remembering Chuck is important.
