Swiveling backrest ?

Came across photo of this set up with no info other than it swivels for use by either driver or passenger. Can't get any other info so far. Does anyone know about this product?

By swivel, you mean down don't you? As to swing your leg over? They're on Ebay....
Unless you mean something else.....

The one in the Pic looks like a fire&steel unit....can't be sure though.....

No DL. It has a push button on each side that move it forward or backward. The above pic it is in the forward position and functions just like a normal driver backrest. In the backward position it functions as a passenger backrest. I bought a 1500 Nomad with one already installed. A buddy of mine then bought one for his classic. No idea who made it and I no longer have that bike but it was cool.

That's a CWI (Custom World International) product. I bought a bike with one installed and the first thing I did was remove it for no other reason than I'm not a backrest guy unless I'm traveling. ldhthept is correct in its operation. I still have it to pay forward if you like but it needs some TLC.

That's funny ! A few years back on my travels a guy came over and chatted with me . He explained to me that he had a trunk that could be moved back and forth and that it would probably fit my bike . I was not interested at all .... Now I get it !!!

Mrtelefoneman, I sent you a PM about the backrest. Want to talk about getting this from you.

Thanks

Mrtelefoneman1 just helped me immensely. He was kind enough to "pay forward" the backrest he had, and went above and beyond to make it happen. Now I'll be able to make my "ride buddy" happy with support, and can use it myself when solo.

Many thanks to a nice guy!
