That's certainly a ride for for you ID. Would be well over 400 miles almost clear across the the state. I hope to meet you before the season is over. Glad to hear Martin is going, I wonder how is backside is doing on his new seat.

Niel no need for your GPS its easy from the diner
Check the map. If you follow Rt5 north you'll see where the intersection of 116 is. We rode 116 until 8A north to Rt2 east into Greenfield heading home. We could take 116 to RT 8 north into north adams which is further west then Rt2 back to greenfield. There are spectacular views along Rt. 2 in that part of the state. If you look at google maps you'll see the hair pin turn as it heads south through florida MA and is right before the forest. if there are no cars to ruin the ride it's one of the best rides into Greenfield. From there though we would probably head home and bypass the reservoir and just head back down I91. That rout for us is about 190 round trip about 300 miles for you. Or we do the same ride as last time Think about it.

A lot of GPS units can read either GPX or ITX files for an itinerary.

I've imported a few gpx files but I did not know I could record and save a rout to export later.

Depending on where you look the weather prediction goes from sunny and no rain to thunderstorms and 60% chance of rain. It boggles my mind how inaccurate weather people are.

Only some GPS units can record the route. My GPS is a TomTom Rider for a bike and has that capability.
