If you see this...!

Funniest thing I've seen all week, Nico!

I was thinking, "If you see this" ...you need to sober up!

you're on US20 south of West Yellowstone, Montana
That looks like Mount Sawtelle, W of Henry's Lake, ID. My folks had a cabin up in that area, about 20 miles south. I spent most of my summers in that part of Idaho until I was 16. My dad and I spent a lot of time fishing Henry's Fork of the Snake River.[/quote:in3z33xd]

Could very well be. After going back and looking at the map that would be about where I stopped to take this shot.

I'm pretty sure that's where it is. If I remember right, Mount Sawtelle was named after a Shoshone indian chief, and the mountain resembles a reclining indian, wearing a headdress. the large peak with the snow would be his head and the smaller peak, to the right would be his knees slightly bent.

Isn't this educational? I'll bet Idaho can verify this.

If you see this, you're on Tioga pass, just over the top towards Lee Vining, about 9000 ft. elevation.

If you see this, you're just about to get on the boat out to Alcatraz.

If you see this, you're on Alcatraz. This is carved above the sally port where you enter the prison. Note the archaic spelling "Alcatraces". They added this floor some time in the recent past, and the inscription is no longer visible to the public. Shame.

If you see this, you are in the operating room at Alcatraz. At night. Spooky!

If you see this, you are under the prison, in a utility tunnel. (Not part of the public tour.) The modern gunnite covers the original brick vaulting here.

If you see this, be glad it's not 100 years ago. You probably wouldn't be leaving alive.
The brick vault down to a "dungeon" under alcatraz, later used as a powder room, and later as a diesel fuel bunker.
