I can't believe the big deal made about that little earthquake. Here in California we don't even blink an eye if it's under a 6.

I was at work when it apparently happened, and didn't notice a thing. I didn't notice the last two we had either.

Just depends what you are used to I guess. For example, here we don't even blink for major snow storms, OK we bitch, but in some places if they were to receive as little as 2 inches of snow the whole city grinds to a halt.

The earthquake didn't make Washington D.C. slide into the ocean, maybe the hurricane will suceed.
