Will H-D Chrome Lowers Fit?

Hi All,
Have a friend that has some chrome H-D lower deflectors for sale for cheap. I was going to go over and look a them tonight. Was wondering, before I buy, if anyone had tried to put these on a Nomad? Can you drill new holes and mount them? I loved the chrome lowers on my old C50, and the factory Nomad ones don't do it for me in the bling department!

Thanks
SuperDuty

I certainly see no reason why you cant make them fit. Probably just need to drill a hole or two.

any lower will fit our bike, its just a matter of drilling 2 holes correctly and getting no clinking when you turn handle bars side to side.

Well, I bought them to give it a try. For $15, I figured it was worth a shot. I puzzled around for a bit to see if I could use the existing legs, but there was too much other stuff in the way. So in the end, I decided to whack off the "legs" and drill holes to mount on the OEM brackets. It's too dark for good pictures, but I snapped a few shots in the garage to see what everyone thinks about the look. They definitely provide more coverage, but I'll have to wait till the rain stops to give them a road test.

Looks pretty darn decent, I would suggest that you put some paint on the bare metal where you drilled the holes, to keep rust away. alittle more "bling" is always nice. I told my wife that my favorite color was "chrome"
