I've been using Valvoline semi-synth. Nomad seems to like it just fine. Got it at AutoZone.

I have been debating between Amsoil 10w-40 and Mobil1 10w-40 for my 4,000 mile oil and filter change. Are we comparing apples to apples or has anyone tried both and prefers one to the other??? Amsoil sent me an e-mail for 6 months 25% discount on all products and then renew the discount if I want to continue for $20 per year. I haven't replied as of yet because I hadn't made a decision on which one I want to use. I definitely will go synthetic though. Is there enough difference to ask for suggestions?
