Who has traveled the most number of states
I noticed the other day where Nightmare has 48 states in his map filled.
When questioned about it, he said he has ridden in all the the 48 mainland states. Wow!! Does Nightmare hold the record for our members? ??? Speak up if you have ridden more; or if you are close to that number. I would like to hear how anyone is able to have the time to do this -- just in case there is a trick or two I can steal! ;) Personally; I am a bit weak in the map-coverage area yet; but sure would like to improve it sooner than later. :)

Who has traveled the most number of states
I think some folks are just marking the ones they've ridden their Nomad in, others not.

Who has traveled the most number of states
As you can see, my map is pretty weak. I would love to fill in a lot more, especially states in the southeast, as I have never traveled to that part of the country.

Who has traveled the most number of states
I confess! The map below shows the states covered on my old 650CSR.
I see five states I can add pretty handily in a short period of time this summer. Might have to Photoshop the map and put an N or something on the Nomad states perhaps??? |

I don't think anyone cares what bike anyone "rode" in the states; just that you actually had were riding a bike; and that its wheels touched the ground in that state before including it.
I can't say that I have ever heard of a "mileage-requirement" in a state before one should include it. If I am wrong; someone let me know.

What glwilson said. If you rode a bike, any bike, in the state no matter how many miles, it counts. I have 6 so far. Will probably add 3 or 4 more this summer.

glwilson is correct......the states marked on your visited map should be states you've ridden in on a motorcycle. Doesn't necessarily have to be a Nomad.
Mine is still kinda weak....but with the National being in Custer this June, I'll be able to add three more states.

Who has traveled the most number of states
Ive done 11 states in the car and only 3 on the bike so far, but Im working on it. Here in Canada Ive never ridden the bike in another province as of yet. I guess I should work on that also. There is some beautiful scenery to see here too.

Who has traveled the most number of states
Mine are all on a Nomad, but that is just because I didn't ride out of state on my other bikes.
I think any bike counts BUT NO CAR STATES! When we (a few of us from the board) went to Durango, there was a temptation to go 30 more miles and color in New Mexico, then I decided that I want all my states colored in because I was really planning on riding in that state, not a touch the boarder and go back. Just my own satisfaction though, so I didn't do it. I hope that they next Nomad I buy is on the east coast, and I get to ride it home. Perhaps a deal on one in Maine? |
