I am going to go out on a limb and make a guess that the basic model starts at around $18k to $19k. That is approximately $4k to $5k above the '08Nomad pricing. I may end up being a bit low at that price.

I think they will have a difficult time selling too many of them if the price climbs much above that. But we'll see.

(They do have two model options they have stated are going to be available -- one with the advanced breaking system and the other without. The advanced breaking system is ABS with the feature where both the front and rear brakes are activated with the use of either the right grip or foot pedal independent of each other on speeds above approximately 12-13 mph. Below that the braking automatically reverts back to the standard independent braking we all have now. Not sure how that is going to feel for those of us not used to that type of advanced breaking. Any thougts Dan?)

I agree... I Love my 2006 Nomad. Best bike I have ever owned. Dependable and has hauled my big butt all over the USA. Cannot think of a better bike for me....

well....mebbe, I think it depends on the final price. If low enuff...a sure winner...if too high....best to buy a HD...
