One Week To Go And Getting Worried

With a week to go, and no bike pump. Bike is booked for Wednesday morning, so as long as the part is here by then. I would like to get a ride in before I hit the road Saturday morning, just so I'm comfortable with the fix. My mechanic is positive it's the fuel pump, sure hope he's right. Looking forward to seeing some old friends, and making new.

Thanks, I don't think I'd be so worried but it was a new guy who took my order. He kept asking the same questions so many times, I felt like asking him to write it down. I'm not taking this order over the phone, and I don't have his distractions. So I tried to be patient. Once the (right) part gets here I'll feel a whole lot better.

Things are looking up, the fuel pump arrived this afternoon. Dropping off the bike tomorrow afternoon, for them to install it first thing Wednesday morning. Clean fuel tank, lines, new fuel filter, pump and fresh gas ⛽️ Then just the test drive. If that goes well, I'm packing.🎒

Just picked up the bike, test ride tomorrow but was working great on the way home. No water found in the fuel. Fuel filter was on its last legs, and just swopped out the fuel pump. Time to start packing.

Test ride was great, no issues. Just finished checking the bike over, air filter, lights, coolant and so on. She's ready to go. So pulling out Sunday morning after breakfast, Truro, then Baddeck. See you guys in a few days.
