connection question

I recently added a tach and used piggyback connectors at the coil, put the wire on and used the little boot on the connection but the other part that is connected to the coil does not have a boot --question is could this be a problem if caught in rain? Not very electrical savvy here.

Give it a wrap of electrical tape if your concerned, but as long as those connections don't touch anything they will be fine.
