Look at the new Can Am(s) in my driveway.

My brother and his wife pulled into my driveway Monday night with these 2 new Can Ams.

2014 RTS (hers) and a 2014 RTS Limited (his).

This is her first bike/trike ever. She did the MSF course and got her special 3 wheel Washington endorsement. She has been spending a lot of time practicing on his 2012 RTS Limited....he decided to trade it in when they bought hers to get the new engine and other improvements. Of course I gave him a hard time about having matching trikes and colors.

They have been real active with their local Spyder group for over a year. They have made several good friends, put on a ton of miles, and they have really enjoyed the transition from 2 wheels to 3.

That's fun

They really laid out the cash to get two RTSs. Did either get the Can Am trailer also? It is great for hauling more stuff on the longer trips. Heck, you can just about sleep in it.

No they did not get the trailer. They have plenty of storage on board now that they have 2 bikes instead of 1.

That's a great ride for a woman, But I wouldn't be caught riding one of those.

I do like the color however.

You wouldn't be able to handle one Dave... woman or a Spyder...

You know what they say, "If it has Ti*s or tires your're going to have trouble with it " .

Your right on the woman thing though. I totally agree.

I give my brother a hard time about riding a tricycle as well. But he has put more miles than 90 percent of the motorcyclist out there. He has owned and ridden bikes consistently since he returned from Vietnam.

He was a motorcycle cop for a few years and his map has 49 or 50 states colored in on 2 wheels. I can hardly give him a hard time about the 3 wheel thing.

I hope you parked them in the garage so your neighbors wouldn't think they are yours.

Schoeney... Is that your white, 4Runner sitting in your garage? I have one just like it. Mine is a 2003, white with over 158,000 miles on it.

Nice Can Am's BTW. Your brother and sister-in-law should be proud.

If it comes to a choice of not riding anymore or going to 3 wheels, I will choose the Can Am in a heartbeat over a conventional trike.

If I had the money, I would get one now.

Yeah. It is a 2005 with 132,000 miles. Bought it new. No problems....knocking on wood. I also have a 2000 that I bought new w/ 198,000 miles with no problems....good rigs.

I did see yours in a picture a couple years ago. Virtually identical.
