Am I missing something...?? I used to be able to do a nationwide search on Craigslist. Now I don't seem to have that option anymore. Can it still be done and if so....how?

Ive never been able to do a nation wide search, but its something I always wanted to be able to do. We also have Kijiji here which is the same as Craigslist and you can only search one area at a time.

Like Ring, I've never been able to do a nation wide search. Can only look at small geographical areas. So, I don't look. Have never really used it because of that.

Same here. I use to Goggle "Craigslist" and then go to a link that allowed a nationwide searches. That option is no longer there. That is how I found my 07 Nomad

Was lucky got my 06 nomad on ebay a first time seller got a great price on it $6200 with only 8000 miles had to drive about 300 miles and had to put a front tire on it

If you google the item you're searching for and the word craigslist, it will search the whole data base. At least that has been my experience in the past.

For example, "Kawasaki Nomad craigslist" should give you a huge list of bikes.

Nice....that helps. I used to Google Craigslist...and get a searchbox that you could type into and get ads from all over the nation, but that's gone away for some reson.

If you Goggle "search all of craigslist" you will find several sites that will do such. But, I do miss the way Kris outlined above.

Craigslist actively goes after craigslist aggregators and shuts them down. What I did was use a RSS aggregating application (RSS Owl) to search for things. It was more work as I had to get the feed URLs, but once setup, it works.

Sorry. I am a network administrator. When someone asks me what time it is, I tell them how to build a watch.

That said, basically, there are applications that you can get for free that will check saved searches to see if there is anything new and show you the newly found items. The hard part is getting the RSS (really simple syndication) addresses and add them to the application so it can get and update the result when you want them. Craigslist puts a link on any page you go to that is a RSS link/address. Generally it is in the lower right.
