The telemarketers that bother me about air duct cleaning, are my biggest irritation. They just keep on calling after being told not to every time.

You should reconsider...

I didn't want to mention it Steve, but you're looking a little dusty lately!

Couple guys at work tried the danger talk shortly after I started. After about two months and several rainy/cold days, I still hadn't driven my truck. They got the point that if the weather won't keep the bike at home then there's no point mentioning anything.

We're all drunks, you know how it is with those motorcycle riders. During the major rallies, like Sturgis, look at all those accidents. I get tired of pointing out the obvious, there were less accidents than any major city on any given day.

There are considerably more drunk drivers in cars proportionally than motorcyclists. Most responsible riders reserve their drinking for after the riding is done.

Couldn't even find the truck accident I saw last week on the way to Laughlin. The biggest piece at the scene was about two feet long. There was about six feet of the trailer left. Looked like a war zone with all the debris all over the road. Nothing in the news media anywhere. A motorcycle goes down even without much damage and it is the lead story.

I throw the car statistics back at them and add a reminder, "If the occupants of the car had been wearing a helmet there would not have been any head injuries."

Good one! Gotta remember that one!

I had an accident on my bike in March, and what is beginning to irritate me is the assumption by a lot of my friends and co-workers that I am going to quit riding. They don't seem to get that riding is part of my life, a big part of my life.

If I had a wreck in my car they would not expect me to stop driving!

Gosh this is gonna take a lot of typing.

There was this corny joke about these three guy's on a safari in Africa when they come across natives and they was pissed. The head honcho steps forward and tells them they are trespassing, for which the penalty is death or boolah boolah. So he screams at the first guy choose your punishment death or boolah boolah. The guy thinks well I don't know what boolah boolah is but I don't want death so he says boolah boolah. The honcho says very well, and five well hung natives step forward and rape the hell out him and he dies. Again the honcho ask the second guy choose your punishment. He thinks, well I don't want to die that way so he chooses death. So the honcho says very well then It's death by boolah boolah!

Thanks TC, you coulda told that better.

It's just amazing what you can learn on the VBA board!
Ain't you glad it ain't limited to baggers?

My response.

Oh my gosh (where did this happen because I do care about riders) and say did you hear about (fill in spaces)____________.

Examples

1. Meteor hits man in head and kills him.
2. As mentioned above man drinks water and drowns.
3. Chicken Little was right after all since 12/21/2012 is approaching does it matter.
4. Thanks I try to avoid that area even more so now, want another beer?
5.
