Ponch, just bought it and haven't had a chance to use it. However, when I put it on it seems quieter than my current lid.

I find it quieter with the visor up and as I close it, click by click, it gets louder until it's closed. I had a shoei full face before this and that was quieter.

After work today, I'm going to Home Depot to pick my wife up a new shovel and pick so she can get to work on my new swimming pool.

Started with a 3/4 helmet and decided after my first long distance ride a full face helmet would be better. I have found on subsequent trips the ride was more pleasant in the various weather conditions. The only inconvenience for me is getting my glasses back in place after putting on the helmet. Small price to pay for the extra protection.

I have not found the full face helmet to be any more uncomfortable than a 3/4 helmet in the high heat. With the visor down it stops the hot air blast from cooking me when moving.

As far as brands go, pick a helmet that fits and is extremely comfortable. After you have worn the helmet for eight to twelve hours a day, brand names do not mean a thing. If it is comfortable you won't mind wearing it.
