Greetings,
Have used T6 for the first post break in oil (600 miles to 2000) twice now. Then have switched to AMsoil. Had no issues as I recall having to top it off. Also used T6 exclusively in the VStar 1100 and Venture V4. The V* did need to be topped off from time to time (5K mile oil change interval). The Venture, I don't believe so... The V* got rode hard, always attributed the oil consumption to the riding style.

Ride safe,
Smokier

I have not had to top off on my 08 Nomad using T-6.
Of course I fill it and then ride for 5,000 miles before I change it again.
Don't check it in the mean time so wouldn't know if needed topping off anyway.
It hasn't blown up yet so I assume it is good

I had heard that these bikes use the synthetic more especially on the highway which I was doing so I actually switched to the regular Rotella T which is the 15w40. I wanted a little thicker oil for the summer highway rides.
