I take off on business to Sacramento tomorrow until Thursday afternoon. Already have bike backed. Father's funeral was today so I haven't had time to think about anything else. It wont be until i land back in Long Beach until the excitement of a 4am departure Friday hits me.

Hi All... someone just cancelled their room at the Alpine Lodge in Red Lodge. It would be nice to keep this hotel 100% our group so if somebody can move over from one of the other hotels please contact the Alpine Lodge. The room that opened up is a log cabin with a queen bed.

Dinner Wednesday Night.

The lodge is going to put on a BBQ pulled pork dinner for us on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m..

It will also include potatoes, coleslaw, corn on the cob,a roll, dessert, & non-alcoholic drinks.

Cost is $15 per person. The hotel will collect for the dinner when you check in. It would be nice if we could all participate the night before several of us leave.

I am all but loaded to go.

I called to confirm my reservations, and discovered Larry had me checking-out sooner than I had planned. I was able to make an arrangement with him to correct the problem; but it almost wasn't going to work out for him, as he is booked for later in the week.

If it had not worked-out, I would have had to leave earlier than I planned; when considering other reservations I have along the way, it wasn't going to be very convenient since Sturgis will be starting and just about all rooms between there and my home are booked solid.

Hopefully, Larry has everyone else's reservations correct.

See you guys Sunday evening.

right around 5 am I will head North. Everything is packed, double checked, and whatever I am forgetting I can do without. I'll be at the Alpine Saturday afternoon.
