Stuck in DFW airport

I am sitting in the DFW airport stuck because Atlanta had storms. I have been sitting here since 4:00 CDT and they think we are leaving at 10:30, arriving at ATL sometime around 2:00 a.m. EDT. Then I get to sit there till lord knows when tomorrow before I get back to Tampa.

This whole trip has been a trip from hell, at least on the flight side of things. My original flight to Dallas out of Charolette was cancelled so I had to fly back to ATL to get a flight to Dallas. Only good thing was that I got a first class seat for my trouble. So on Friday I was on planes basically from 5:20 a.m. EDT till 2:00 p.m. EDT...frustrating.

HOpe everyone enjoys their evening. I know I won't be.

I feel your pain man. I fly alot and I absolutely hate it! It's such a waste of time hanging in airports and when the stars don't align just right with the airline it can be a living hell!
Sorry for your trouble dude. Hope you get home soon.

When you finally get home, remember to pet the Nomad before going into the house and finally going to bed. (The wife and possibly the dog, etc., can wait.) After all the bike has been lonely with the misadventures you have had flying. :)

Nothing worse than spending the night in a terminal. Well, maybe something, but I can't think of anything right now.

Finally made it home around 10 a.m. this morning. Went to the garage and looked at the bike and apologized for not taking her out for a ride today and promised to do that tomorrow...then I petted the dog and the wife ;).

The storms in Atlanta were tornados. Friday evening a tornado came right through downtown Atlanta, hit the Georgia Dome during the basketball tournament. Caused tons of damage in Atlanta. Saturday (yesterday) we got more tornados throughout the day. Many homes destroyed and two people killed. Considering that these tornados came right through a heavily populated area its amazing that the casulaties were so low. As far as I know, none of the Georgia KawaNow members got hit. Thank God it wasn't worse than it was.

I've told my secretary to ALWAYS book me nonstop. But sometimes... like when I had to go to Shreveport last month I discovered that airport is just like Colorado Springs airport...THEY DON'T FLY ANYWHERE OF NOTE!!! Had to hit Houston.

Well that explains why I didn't get a call from you. Hell, I thought you had given up beer for Lent. But I'm curious. How did your wife feel about getting petted after the dog?
