dropped off for paint

I dropped the bike off this afternoon, going with pearl white with a white ghost pinstripe. Painting the fairing and harley trunk as well. Got a price of $800 on this simple layout.

Sounds really cool. Keep us posted as you get it finished. Pictures would be great too.

Great color IMO.... Are you painting the frame too?

Don't forget the pics when it's finished. Pearl white is my favorite color.

Sounds cool. White would be my favorite choice.

I seriously am thinking of having mine repainted this winter also.

Although white would be my favorite choice; since my bike is black (dark bronze technically... Ha! to those on a previous post); I thought of having it painted in two-tone... keeping the black/bronze in combination with an "old-school" cream-color with an orange or red "type" color pinstripe separating the two colors.

I would have thought that it would be more than $800; but maybe I should check it out to see just what it might cost.

As Valdez asked; I would worry about the frame color clashing with any paint job done; and wouldn't want to take the entire bike apart to change the frame color.

Make sure we see plenty of pics!!

I like that pearl white. Glad to know somebody is going to try it for me first. You're going to the rally ain't you?

John,
That sounds like a great price for the paint job. I can't wait to see it.

A couple of Venture's ago I had my 87 pianted Pearl White. It looked beautiful! You will be very pleased!!! Chrome does stand out and the black should not be a problem. If the black is - then you just gotta cover it in chrome - see no problem!

$800? That's it? Man, I'm moving to your state.. :)
Very much looking forward to pictures when you get it back... what's the turnaround time?

I've been toying with the idea of painting mine - either pearl white or black. Can't make up my mind. Gave it a good bath and detail this weekend and caught myself admiring the green/silver.

Dang.

the bike is finished and is being put back togather. The paint looks great, with one exception (side panels) that I will be having redone. I dont have a photobucket account but if one of you that has an account will email me I will send you picks of the bike painted Pearl White.

It looks faster and more comfortable already
