Has anyone removed this decal?

The clutch cover decal. I have a new one to replace I just wanted to get some advice on how to remove old one.

This is not my motorcycle but thought it looked cool.

It just pulls off. It's stuck on with double stick tape. I used a thin, flat blade screwdriver to start it and then got my hand under there and yanked it off. Had to replace mine due to it discoloring. Surprise, it's already discoloring again. I guess they designed the covers for people who ride their bikes 2 days a year b/c they obviously aren't up to the engine heat.

If it is the same as the one on the Voyage, I just used a good chrome polish on mine and it came right off. The decals Kawasaki used are garbage.

Thanks for the responses. I actually bought the black Vaquero one so I am hoping it will not wear as terribly as the silver one. I think it will look pretty cool too. It doesn't deserve being called chrome. Mine was worn out by 1200 miles.

I would use the wifes hair dryer to heat up the glue before I put a screwdriver near it. Heat up the glue and it will most likely come right off. Then some clean up and your done. Just my .02 worth.

Wifes hairdryer? Why can't I use my hairdryer? Haha. Just kidding. I wish I had enough hair to dry it. I will heat it up before I attempt removal.

O.k that was easy. Took about 3minutes. Hair dryer and small screw driver. Much better with thw Vaquero decal.
