Antlers rally head count - Page 7

I am still workinng in AL and will not be able to make the Rally. I work part time and take it when I can.

See many of you next year at the Nat. Rally.

Jim, Jude and i have a friend coming with us. He is riding a hot rod road king. Jude is not bringing her bike. We will be two up. So that is myself, Jude and Tom on two bikes. Of course, mine will make the trip. Not so sure about the red demon.

I am especially concerned that they wont get to see me and Jude. More deer chilli for us. Sorry you guys cant make it. We are going to keep the legend alive. Hoping for a sasquatch sighting. Some claimed to have had a sighting last year im told but it turned out to be Jim (oldbikers)!

Well Bill that's a shame. Who will I bum around with without you there?

Another item of importance affected by Bill's announcement. This may seriously upset the delicate balance of the Bill to Jim ratio. I remember coming to the rally a couple of years ago for the first time and being told that if I called anyone Bill or Jim I had a 50% chance of being correct. I have actually passed this along to my wife, so dont be surprised if you see a woman on a red vaquero and she calls you "Bill" or "Jim".

My wife and I live in the Antlers area...will be attending (two bikes/two people). Molinas is the better Mexican food rest. in town (just at the 271 north hiway 3 split). Pruetts Grocery has a decent deli...Head north to Clayton and the Shell station there (corner of Hi-way 2 and Hiway 271 serves up the best Hamburger/Cheeseburger and potato wedges! The Antlers annual "Deer Festival" goes on the 5th and 6th (not really that big a thing actually)...just across from the hotel that is the rally hotel. Sam's bar is about eight miles east of Antlers on Hiway three (biker friendly) and just before you get into Clayton on 271 there is another Biker friendly bar (that bar is sponsoring a ride on the 5th...I think to the Talamina). If anybody has any questions about this area...I will be pleased to answer...I have been riding the Kiamichi and the Talamina for ten years.
