Good news !! Weather forecasts for Saturday have lowered rain probability to 20-30%. We should have a nice day. Jamie, hope you get your bike going by Saturday.

Got a new battery today. Will bring it with me on Saturday. Guys I'm going with can probably change it 10 times faster than I can. Bobby's gonna meet us in Clinton on the Trace around 9 O'clock Saturday morning, Jim.

We'll be there probably before 12. Between 11:00 and 11:30 if I had to guess. And we'll be hungry....At least I will!

Jamie....I just thought of a new nickname for you.... "Jethro". Viddles will be in Natchez when you get there.

I think the Mascagni brothers can accomodate you, Jamie ( Jethro ). You need to get one of those supersized meatballs they serve. That'll keep you happy for a while.

Maybe we can find a cement pond or two around there. Seriously, Donna Douglas, who played Eliie Mae, is from Baton Rouge, and still lives here. She still has her " Ellie Mae hairstyle ". She does a lot of volunteer work, and is on the news some here. She may be single, Jamie, if you are interested. ;)

Hooooooooot Doooooooog!!!!!!!! Y'all are gettin' me excited. Hope that meatball puts up a better fight than that Giant Bisuit did....lol.....Good news, though. I went ahead and put my new battery in with the help of my cousin. I drove 40 miles (10% chance of rain and I think I drove through all 10% on my way there) to Clinton and he helped me, well, I helped him. When I got there it fired right back up. So my old one might have still been ok. But I knew I'd sleep better at night knowing my Nomad would crank right up with a new, stronger battery. Now I can just relax the whole trip. And I love that new Grasshopper backrest. Now I'm afraid I'll fall asleep I'll be so comfortable. Looking forward to seeing y'all...And back in the day Ellie Mae would have had to beat me off with a stick.

Jamie, glad to hear you are all fixed up. I have a scooter with the same problem. Ellie Mae is older, but she still looks good for her age.

Someone bring a rope LOL. Mine has started that weird intermittant miss again. Last two days going to work it stubbled a couple of times. Did fine coming home today. Can't narrow it down but seems electrical or maybe gas. It hasn't done it in a long time since I pulled everything off and put it back on. Jim and Jamie - I'll meet you on the Natchez Trace at the first pull off on the left after you cross over I-20. It's a small parking lot. (0900 in the morning?)

Hate to say it, but the weather forecast has taken a turn for the worse. There is a low pressure area that's going to move over Alabama near the Mississippi line, and keep all of us with a 40% chance of rain throughout the weekend. Mitch and I talked, and we are going to decide in the morning whether or not we are going to try it. Stay tuned.

You can't trust those weather reports too much. It may be 100% chance of heavy storms. They may be trying to make it sound better since it's a holiday weekend. Got my rain suit ready! Hopefully it will rain later in the day. Still not good for me because I need to get back home before dark if I can.
